Conservation Laws and Finite Volume Methods

Homework: Homework problems will be suggested as we go along and are summarized below. Create your own set of solutions in a binder. Binders will be turned in for grading on Wednesday February 7 and Monday March 5. You are welcome to do additional problems besides those listed below!

Part of the assignment is to check your work (after working it out yourself) using the Homework Solution Set of John Weatherwax and provide feedback on the correctness and clarity of these solutions. (These may be updated during the quarter, so you might want to check online rather than printing the current version.)

Course project: In addition to the homeworks, there will be a course project due at the end of the quarter.
