Biographical information
Professor Kevorkian received his undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering in 1955 from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He pursued his doctoral degree in Aeronautics at the California Institute of Technology, receiving it in 1961. He teaches several service courses in addition to more advanced courses on partial differential equations and perturbation theory, topics that he has surveyed in two well-known texts with recent second editions. His research interests concern perturbation techniques for studying nonlinear problems in science and engineering. He has also been honored as a Fulbright-Hayes visiting lecturer (Paris).
