Biographical Information

Professor Kot received his undergraduate degree in Physics and Applied Mathematics from New College in 1977. He completed three master's degrees, one in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Cornell University in 1979, a second in Applied Mathematics from the University of Arizona in 1984, and a third in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona in 1987. He earned his doctorate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona in 1987. Professor Kot has taught at the University of Tennessee or at the University of Washington since 1987.
