Computational systems biology, molecular biophysics, and
mathematical biology - stochastic analysis and statistical physics of
biological systems.
(1) Computational systems biology: large-scale metabolic and protein interaction networks, cellular signal transduction, and biophysics of muscle contraction and cell motility. (2) Physical chemistry of single molecules and fluctuation analysis: stochastic macromolecular mechanics, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy, single-particle tracking, atomic force microscopy, and single-molecule enzymology. (3) Biophysical chemistry: protein folding, DNA supercoiling, and molecular motors. (4) Mathematical modeling: blood flow in vascular networks, cancer metastasis, and neural computation. |
