Research Interests
Currently I am working on mode-locking dynamics in fiber lasers. I investigate stable and robust mode-locked solutions in both the anomalous and normal dispersion regimes for various applications: ultra-fast mode-locking with spectral filters, multi-frequency mode-locking, and net zero dispersion laser cavities.Mathematically, the analysis and computation I use falls within the context of methods of contemporary dynamical systems, nonlinear wave propagation, perturbation theory, stability theory, nonlinear partial differential equations, and scientific computing.
