Teaching

In the spring of 2009 I am teaching:
* AMATH575: Dynamical Systems .(This is a UW moodle page. You might need a UW-ID or similar to access it.)

I am also a coordinator for the Nonlinear Waves Research Group Seminar.

Research Interests

I am interested in applying mathematics to physical problems, especially nonlinear wave phenomena. In the past, I have studied problems related to Bose-Einstein Condensates, Fluid Mechanics, Plasma Physics and Lattice Dynamics. I have done this using a variety of mathematical techniques from such different fields as Integrable Systems and Solitons, Dynamical Systems, Hamiltonian Dynamics, Riemann Surfaces and Algebraic Geometry, Lie Algebras, Complex Variables, Asymptotics and Perturbation theory. More specific information can be found here . Links to papers and software are found here .
