Teaching
In the spring of 2009 I am teaching:I am also a coordinator for the Nonlinear Waves Research Group Seminar.
AMATH575: Dynamical Systems .(This is a UW moodle page. You might need a UW-ID or similar to access it.)
Research Interests
I am interested in applying mathematics to physical problems, especially nonlinear wave phenomena. In the past, I have studied problems related to Bose-Einstein Condensates, Fluid Mechanics, Plasma Physics and Lattice Dynamics. I have done this using a variety of mathematical techniques from such different fields as Integrable Systems and Solitons, Dynamical Systems, Hamiltonian Dynamics, Riemann Surfaces and Algebraic Geometry, Lie Algebras, Complex Variables, Asymptotics and Perturbation theory.
