Title:

A "Quick and Dirty" Numerical Method to Predict Large Flux Steady States of Poisson-Nernst-Planck System in 1D

Date: Thursday, April 17, 2002

Time: 2:30 - 3:20pm

Place: Guggenheim Room AMATH Library

Abstract. I will motivate why in the first place one would need the steady state of a Poisson-Nernst-Planck system, place it in some context of current state of literature, and then quickly get "down and dirty" with deriving this little scheme. I hope to also get some preliminary computations cleaned up so I can show you where I am planning to apply this method.
