	I suggest reading chapter 9, which is on parameter estimation and 
usage of the neutral theory, for Friday.  But I also encourage everybody 
to do a little work on their own and come up with something to present.  
In particular, I'd appreciate it if somebody would go through the geometry 
of calculating the amount of light incident to earth, as a function of 
latitude, to first order.
