New Quarter

	Greetings all.  Welcome back to another quarter at UW.  After a
brief hiatus last quarter, the Math Ecology Journal Club will be meeting
again.  We'll have an organizational meeting this 

	Thursday afternoon at 3:30

in the applied math library to schedual a meeting time and discuss
this quarter's topic.  Two potential books that we may enjoy reading are

	Matrix Population Models - by Hal Caswell

and

	Foundations of Social Evolution - by Steven Frank.

If you have other suggestions, bring them along.  If you cannot make the
meeting but can not attend Thursday, email
me(treluga@amath.washington.edu) a schedual and your topic ideas.
