Loyce Adams has recently been invited by the SIAM Education Committee to describe this project at the national SIAM meeting in May 1999 in Atlanta. She is to organize a two hour minisymposium that features four speakers. Adams will give an overview followed by talks by a graduate student, a Northshore teacher, and Paula Smith of UCDS.
