Materials Created by Graduate Students


The graduate students have been developing interesting math vitamins and other help materials for the teachers. These help materials clarify some sticking points that were observed in the classroom. The "math vitamin" concept was taught at the UCDS workshop this past summer, and many of the Northshore teachers are very keen to use this vehicle in their classrooms to reach a variety of math abilities via inquiry-based learning. The math vitamins are very amenable to manipulatives and the teachers have asked the graduate students to get them started in making them up. I will be putting these here for your review.
