AMRCLAW

Adaptive Mesh Refinement + CLAWPACK

AMRCLAW is a joint project between Randy LeVeque and Marsha Berger, based on Berger's AMR algorithms and LeVeque's CLAWPACK.

Note: Version 4.0 of CLAWPACK is now available. This includes AMRCLAW. Please go to http://www.amath.washington.edu/~claw

A beta-test version is now available by ftp from amath.washington.edu in pub/rjl/programs/amrclaw.tar.gz or pub/rjl/programs/amrclaw.tar.Z

Note added May 28, 1997... This has just been updated to Version 0.3.
Version 0.3 has since been updated: See amrclaw/doc/changes

If you would like to be on the mailing list for future announcements, corrections, etc., please send a note to rjl@amath.washington.edu

A manuscript describing the algorithms is now available:

Sample Calculations

Here are some sample calculations. Many of these are preliminary test calculations that were run in the process of debugging the code. Some of these can be improved upon and what is shown here should be viewed as merely an indication of what types of things the code will do. Improved calculations with better descriptions will eventually appear here...

Animations

Some results have also been animated using matlab and movie software developed by Andreas Wiegmann.
