bio

For an alternate bio, and by alternate I mean a a pack of lies read my biography according to Avanti

I grew up in Eagle River and Chugiak, Alaska, two towns not far from Anchorage. I had a pretty unremarkable childhood (excepting a few things that are unremarkable only in Alaska; my dad ran the Iditarod and i started snowboarding when i was 12). When i was in jr high and high school i had an interest/obsession with chess and mathematics, respectively. For high school I went to East School within a School (SWS) which is a unique, open and punk-infested school and I had a lot of fun there. After my jr year at SWS I left for a program at USC for seniors, where I did my last year of SWS and first year of college. Pretty much the only thing I remember from USC are a few friends I had, and a new obsession with film that I aquired.
After USC I went to UC Berkeley. At Berkeley I continued mixing my intrests of math and film, adding in international security and politics as time went on. One thing I did as part of my intrest in movies was a list of the movies I saw while at USC and UCB. I also have a couple of good friend there that I still visit. I graduated after 2 years and started graduate school at UW in mathematics.
Now, 3 years later, I am still at UW. I am having more fun here than anywhere else I have been. Sometimes I think I would be happy never to leave. I am working on my second masters in the Applied Math department(I finnished my first in Math last year). I snowboard more here, see my girlfriend more here, and have substituted soccer in for frisbee of late. I train for my soccer team a ridiculous amount. I recently traveled to argentina with my team for the paralympic world championships. While we were there we qualified to go to the paralympics in athens greece, sept 17-28th. It should be a lot of fun, and not just because while im there i plan to see wheelchair rugby where folks in wheelchairs run full boar into each other.

Born and raised by wolves in the snowy wilderness, Wolf Boy first stumbled onto human civilization at the age of eight. He spoke in no recognizable tongue, only growls and howls. In an effort to tame him, he was given the name Jason and adopted by the Slemons family. At least that is what I assume since he says he is from Alaska.
After assimilating into the Alaskan culture, Jason felt that two frostbitten toes were quite enough, and he packed his bags and left for the beaches of Southern California. Disillusioned by granduer he settled into a program for the gifted at USC, think X-Men. Realizing the school was second rate to UCLA and craving a different population (i.e. more wolves) he moved to Berkeley and found his calling, mathematics (this time not from the wolves).
Forseeing the downhill battle California was to face in the coming years, Jason left Berkeley with a B.S. in Mathematics and moved to the wonderous city that is Seattle. He still resides there although he has moved from the Math Department to the Applied Math Department, quite the the big leap. Feeling one leap was not enough, he is now realizing his potential as a soccer star. The basics of the game being so close to his childhood favorite, "kick the rabbit head", has lead him to exhibit his skills with the paralympics team.
